Hey slick - pay attention. Seriously. Don't just run and grab a headline.

The Big 10 got 2.6 billion. ESPN paid about 190 million a year. FOX paid about 240 million. FOX also got first pick. Down here - that's what we call going half - and getting screwed.

THE SEC will be closing on a deal in excess of 300 million a year. So, no, ESPN is not hooked with THE Ohio State University.

I could give you the links - but given the great school you follow and your Great Lakes Values - I assume you can find 'em for yourself.

The world does not revolved around Columbus, OH. Thank God and Greyhound.

They were discussing if they had to miss some games because of the 21 day quarantine, that 6 games would be a good enough sample. My point is that they shouldn’t get special treatment when the fault Of the shortened season is Of their own making.

LSU imo will have no problem doing its part to play 10 games full schedule, because they had early herd immunity to covid relative to most any team in country.

Alabama had a pretty good sampling themselves... amazing how they all lived through it.

Sounds like O’s low country boil wasn’t a bad idea after all!

No they aren't. They're playing a shortened schedule like everyone else.

So your whole point falls right on its face.

I don't believe you're actually this obtuse and pedantic.

It isn't up to you. Best to learn to deal with it.

And whose fault is it that LSU and the rest of the SEC is playing a shortened season? Should they be disqualified if they missed games? I'm guessing that answer is different.

It’s not? Well I appreciate someone from the b1g coming to this sec board to explain to me how it works. For someone from such an academically outstanding conference, I would think you’d be able to figure out why that might bother people.

6-0 Ohio State would not make the playoff, unless the other conferences absolutely cannibalize themselves.
play the best team.

They are clearly a top 3 team in terms of talent. Depends on which games are in that 6-0. That could be sample enough to go along with a 1-2 loss SEC team, Clemson, and OU/TX

Would garner a lot of NCAA TV dollars in a year when every penney is needed

you don't think there could be a 1-2 loss SEC champ? 2 loss SEC champ in a 10 game schedule with no PAC is getting in

You're an Alabama fan on an LSU site. You're weirder than anyone.

I'm laughing at the idea that 6-0 puts a conference champ in the same category as 6-2.

Sure, if they're lucky, a 6-2 SEC team could sneak in.

It’s like some people don’t know how to check other conferences’ publicly released schedules.

What makes you think it would be 8-2 vs 6-0?

And what about 8-0 vs 8-2?

The Big Ten is playing 8 games, guy.

Yeah, it kind of is like that.

Makes you wonder where 6-0 comes from, doesn't it.
