They don’t know about the PoS and Weiner … yet. Our kids have experienced multiple coaches and chose not to even consider following either one.

That is telling

So after all the dust settled, the only thing Jimbo Schloscariot got from A&M is Max Weiner?

Yes the pitching mastermind who is so loved and brilliant that….

All of his pitchers announced they were staying in College Station even though they had no idea who their coach would be.

Still cracks me up

We made them hire a head coach with no experience just so they could save this year's roster and stick it to TU.

We won.

So for the first time ever, A&M will actually have an expectation to win a championship.

Holy shite, we really did get y'all. Whenever you inevitably fall flat on your faces next year, you'll be the biggest underachievers in the country

Texas fans doing their best to tell themselves that they got the upper hand. ONLY argument is that we now have a 1st year HC. I get that and time will tell. However, we all know that the environement for player development and team culture will be drastically improved. And it was already GOOD but no credit to Schloss.

What is VERY interesting is Max Weiner. At first, I thought his departure would be the most impactful. But what is strange? ABSOLUTELY none of the current pitching staff said a comment about wanting Max Weiner back. Says a lot for sure.

Max had an incredible...one year. And hopefully he keeps it going but he is purely analytical. Didnt really play baseball competitively but a short jr college career. More known as a cadet in military boarding school and his leadership style (critical to Schloss). Still super young and needs more experience. But like Earley, think he is a great up and comer. And he is on a path to become a HC in the next 3-5 years if his success continues. Just better watch out for his brand under Schloss. Cat is out of the bag there.

More of a loss from a recruiting and roster management standpoint. His on field coaching is average.

Blaming a freak accident on a coach sending a player to score... wow.

And you wonder why no sitting head coach wanted to come be the HC of your program for your fanbase

Yes, yes.

So we just hired a current D1 HC to become our pitching coach. ??

Ags got exactly who we wanted. Our AD definitely pursued the 3 best natl winning coaches but after that Earley was it. And personally, outside of Vitello, he is my #2. Call me crazy. Time will tell just like Schloss in his rebuild of TX baseball.

Know this much....A&M baseball will be a Top 3 ranked preseason team and Texas? Be lucky to make the list.....

Yea. That's what happens to coaches that are about to be fired.

This is cope, my friend. You were told no. By multiple head coaches. Your own AD basically admitted to such:

Fantastic. Texas will have no expectation as they rebuild.

A&M has to at least be one run away from winning the national title or they will have regressed from the year before.

No pressure!

This is what no Texas fan that really knows D1 baseball wants to discuss.

When the dust settled, we got their most impactful coach both lead hitting and recruiting coordinator. This was a HUGE HUGE get. Longley has Texas at the #2 recruting class for 2025. In 2024, he landed the #3 D1 class.

Texas fans? Do you know that Longley is going to flip several of the top #2 class 2025 players to A&M?

It is a insanely GOOD get for A&M and Easley. These two guys with Kelly are gonna be very difficult to recruit against, especially in Texas and kids that wanna be power hitters.

We lost Cain. But Longley is absolutely an upgrade. Also known, like Easley, as loved by players. Think this really matters in baseball.

Anyone who doesnt extent interviews across as many candidates as possible is an idiot. That is why it is a called a job "interview".

Dont be a total jackass. I know your feelings are hurt.

Maybe, just maybe, CDC should have interviewed more than just Vitello before he choose Schloss. Time will tell. Who knows.

Cain can recruit, but he's a terrible coach. Ask LSU if you don't believe us lowly Aggies.
