The ACC follows suit, passes rule that doesn’t allow players to return from NFL or NBA

People in the comments are mentioning the absence of MLB.

I don't recall the SEC having that verbiage either?

You cant withdrawl from mlb draft. U can decide not to accept the draft and just be re-entered next year

not sure why they don't just include all professional leagues. There is no reason a player should play professionally anywhere(domestic or overseas) and come play in college.

There is no rational distinction between the NBA/g league/ and euroleague, they are all paid professional sports leagues.

It is more selective enforcement meant to help certain teams and hurt others. ACC probably has way too many former pro athletes on their basketball teams.

All this is is virtue signaling when the SEC rolls them because they work within the rules and try things they will change. This is simply stupid. If a player is eligible, then get them if not don't. If the NCAA has not ruled on it, continue forward until they do.

I wonder what's going to happen in states like Kentucky, that have both SEC and ACC teams.

Assuming injunctions will be filed (or have been filed), are attorneys going to go after both conferences?

If the AAC (Tulane) passes this, will they also go after them in Louisiana?

Back in May they were trying to pass an eligibility requirement based off professional earnings, which would pretty much exclude anyone who ever made a salary in any league, including EuroPros.

Not sure what happened to that deal, but I agree with you 100%.
