So, making him wait 10 months for an 11k per semester benefit is horrible. Gotcha.
Do you realize some of these kids' families can't come close to affording that?

I'm guessing you, like myself and everyone else here is going strictly off message board fodder.
Nope, it was quotes from his HS coach that appeared in a news story. And yes, he was told his scholly would still be there and start in the fall, so they essentially lied to him twice.

Kerry Stevenson did not say that.

Bringing up big brother, AGAIN.
We aren't talking about Auburn, kid.

I've never said it wasn't a bad situation. What I said is bleeding heart, stupid arse, whining over something you don't know the details about is ludicrous. The kid still had an offer and still had 5 others to choose from. Blasting the staff for doing their job and saying they did something shitty, when you only have message board information makes you look like you're on a sanctimonious high horse. Everything yall have spouted has entailed giving someone something even if someone was more deserving. Entitlements isn't the way to run an athletic department. You'd think you could see what it's done in practice across the U.S.

Hold up Capstone. You know the NEWS never omits anything in interviews for the sake of readership.

One of the assistant coaches at Vigor might have suggested that, but you'll never see Kerry Stevenson say a bad word about Coach Saban. He adores the man.

Not even close to what I said. However, I wouldn't expect you to get anything factual right.

An assistant coach did provide the timeline described by the poster.
