Awe, don't be like that. Florida's a pretty good school too. Maybe one day you'll make the list. Chin up.

Vanderbilt and UF not being on a top 25 list invalidates this site.

For one thing, we listened to the 97 percent of students who named the cost of attendance as an important factor in their college choice in a recent U.S. Department of Education survey, so you won't see the usual suspects near the top of our list. Instead, you'll learn about institutions that combine affordability with academic quality, successful student outcomes and a diverse variety of available degree programs.

We also took into account the report on recent National Center for Education Statistics data that shows a surprising change in college student demographics. Adult students -- also known as returning or nontraditional students -- now outnumber recent high school graduates on college enrollment rolls, so we gave extra weight to the availability of distance education, part-time degree plans and other flexibility measures.

Given that it appears to all be public schools, it would seem that private institutions were excluded. Given that they were using public files, this would explain their lack of inclusion.

Frankly, I found it odd that UF dad nowhere on the list as well... Wonder I'd they were in the first five out or something...

I have been to many on that list. Never in a 100 years would I think to group any in that category. Proof you can find a list anytime to meet your agenda.

Which ones specifically have you "been to"? Do you think you can judge an academic institution on just stepping on the campus or going to a football game? That's what I love about Aubies.

Has to really suck that the two football programs with ownership rights to The Barn are on the list.

I have gone thru training with graduates of most of those Universities. P.S read the criteria for what makes them the best. Like I said, you can find a list about anything that meets your agenda.

I’ve lived amongst a bunch of Aubies for years. Doesn’t make me a Barn expert. They are a very insecure bunch, as a whole, though. Seems like the Aubie creed is “please notice us”.

The list is a joke, again look at the criteria used.
