Alan Evans is the very picture of a father living his dreams through his child. I have never seen a father try so desperately to keep himself in the spotlight.

When the governor of your state (Jindal) is jealous of Alabama you know the residents are going to be. He referred to the State of Alabama's economic and higher education success numerous times as models for Louisiana. He pointed out how UAB does more research than all Louisiana colleges and universities COMBINED and how Louisiana hopes to one day have a high tech hub like Cummins Research Park in Huntsville.
Alabama won the two main projects both states competed against one another for Thyssenkrup and Airbus.

People in the south are not very self aware. Certainly not in Alabama and amongst the gun nut conservative religious crowd. Zero perspective from never having left or lived outside the state.
