This level of hatred has been missing in SEC rivalries for years now. I forgot how fun it is. A level of drama like leading up to a WWE event

Hatred, trash talk, threats of violence. State politicians getting involved, lawyers getting involved, petty things like pictures of the coach in the urinals, social media false rumors on players and coaches families. The whole 9 yards. Heard on the radio hotel rooms at the La Quinta inn in Oxford are going for 8k a night this weekend.

It just means more

I agree, it’s been fun. But it’s time to play football now. There isn’t much left to be said.

But they’re happy with Pete as their coach. Everything is fine. Nothing to see here.

I paid $600 for a Motel 6 on McFarland Blvd for the 2021 Bama vs LSU game. Would do it again.

I think it would have been a lot better if there wasn't so much bullshite in the offseason as it pertains to the excitement of the game. It's just gotten tired at this point. But, that also made it a peak offseason. I'm ready for today to be over with so we can finally see both team's best shot at winning the game. I don't think you've see the real Ole MIss or LSU team yet.

Suppose that means LSU brings enormous value to the conference.

Wait until ole Miss gets the crap beat out of them. They’ll go crying to Sankey again for some kind of punishment against LSU

I'm pretty content with Pete at this moment. He hasn't given me a solid reason not to be.

LK started his shenanigans much earlier at LSU than he usually does. His eventual flame out will be glorious to watch from afar. To deny that it will happen is being purposely ignorant.

I already said this somewhere else, but it's like watching two drunk mirrors yelling at each other. I think the two fan bases are starting to realize they are exactly the same.

I’ve paid so much money for LSU games. I wasn’t paying but my parents did in 1979 when Bama beat LSU 3-0 in the freezing rain in Baton Rouge. My earliest memory of Bama vs LSU. We wore ponchos. My last Baton Rouge game was 2018, 29-0 Bama. I need to get back there.

I don’t doubt it will, Kiffin can’t deny his nature and neither will I. But just as you guys did, I’m going to enjoy the rollercoaster before the big drop.

It’s been an incredible series. The year the SEC takes away an LSU / Bama game should be the year we all riot.

Does this game become part of the Canon in the history of this series, like the Billy Cannon punt return or other notables?

There’s not much like Touchdown Village at LSU. Besides the Bama elephant hung in effigy and beaten with sticks, the baws take care of us.

Of course it does. Name another game between these two schools that brought us this much fun.

We don’t hate them right now. Pretty sure 80% of the hate in this rivalry is on the Ole Miss side right now.

The ONLY reason I want us to beat them so badly this year is because they’ve made such a big deal over Lane coming to us. Otherwise it’s just Ole Miss.
