The only thing Texas will run will be the outdoor latrines set up especially for Moo Moo fans when they visit.

Why would they? They are a regional player that overlaps another SEC school. What do they bring that the SEC already doesn’t have in spades?

Recruiting grounds? The SEC already owns recruiting. Titles? SEC is an everything conference. TV deal? Who has a better one?

Academics? We don’t play school in the SEC.

Now what is Texas getting in the deal? A stable conference with top shelf revenue streams, a chance to play their rivals, a chance to be relevant again.

Texas needs the SEC far more than the SEC needs Texas. Hell we proved that by letting Mizzou and Arky in and not missing a beat.

10rc has missed plenty of beats and is being carried as much or more as these two teams. Use facts.

Texas wanted the SEC. The SEC wanted Texas or they wanted to keep Texas out of the B1G.

Either way, we both wanted each other.

Why is this so hard to understand?

It is hilarious that they will take over and run the SEC.

actually, what is hilarious is that y’all refuse to acknowledge the elephant in the room..

ESPN held the cards. It wasn’t Texas. it wasn’t the SEC. We both did what our master wanted.

Needed a partner for Oklahoma. You think the SEC really wanted Mizzou? No, they wanted Oklahoma. Took them long enough and had to take 2 equally meh teams to do it but they got the team they really wanted.

Who isn’t acknowledging BAMA? ESPN wanted Oklahoma in the SEC and Texas was the price.

SEC takes 2 of the 3 historical rivals of Texas.

SEC fans: "We wanted Oklahoma!"

Not a defender of Texas, but the fact you felt it necessary to write this post suggest they are already in your head as well as the head of other nervous baws on this site.

And yet it took how long and Oklahoma setting y’all as the price to get them?

The level of ego to believe that the SEC paved the way for y’all by taking teams y’all played against in the SWC is astounding.

Texas couldn’t even compete in the Bog 12 they will be a Texas 5&7 part 2 addition to the conference. There isn’t one school in the SEC worried about Texas and OU they will struggle for a long long time. Were Looking forward to the extra money though thanks horns LOL
