Tech isn’t good. They have played nobody with a pulse all year long. Remind me of A&M back in the 90’s. No competition, great record, and then bellyflop against real competition

Texas Tech has a D-line that would be in the top-tier of the SEC or Big 10. BYU simply couldn't do a thing, even after getting a second crack at it, because they were destroyed on the LOS.
TTU's problem is offense. They should have beaten BYU by 40+ but can't score in the red zone. They remind me more of Oklahoma than anyone else.

I agree but would go farther and say Tech would beat everyone in the sec other than Georgia on any given day.
That one game Tech lost to Arizona State . Their starting QB was injured, he's back but very injury prone. Tech's QB 2 is out for the year.
So when I say the Raiders could beat all in sec but Georgia, they couldn't do that every week. Probably 3 or 4 losses.
They have the prettiest girls of all.

Back when I was in college my favorites were Southwest Texas & Southwestern because of proximity to Austin and proclivity to come to town for a weekend to party. Texas A&M was also very strong in that department and I wound up dating a few Aggies over the years.
I've still never dated a Raider can't say the same for Oklahoma I finally caved on that front a few years back.

Tech could prove to be a contender. No one knows, their schedule has been laughable thus far. They certainly ought to be fresh and healthy having played that schedule. They can only play the teams on the schedule but anyone thinking their next 3 opponents, if they are a contender, are remotely similar to anyone they’ve faced through 13 games, is delusional. The level of competition is exponentially greater than what Tech has faced. That isn’t true for the 5 teams from the SEC. All but ATM have played teams in the CFP and have beaten CFP teams. The same people from ESPN and CBS who claim Texas Tech is elite NOW also claimed Texas was in September and they also claimed Clemson, Florida, Auburn, LSU and even South Carolina were going to be very good. Add FSU in the mix as well. Tech could be as good as those people claim but the track record of those people indicates they are talking about a subject they have almost no actual knowledge of and are basing their judgement on feelings.
