In the context of preseason hype WHICH IS EXACTLY THE CONTEXT I WAS USING…it was mediocre.
You were preseason #1.
Heisman finalist QB.
Lost to Florida.
Barely beat MSST and UK in overtime.
You fell from preseason #1 to unranked faster than any team in history.
I know you’re on the merry go round but save the spin for somewhere else.

There's actually a thread that was on the front page here the other day that had the top 10 overrated teams over the last 10 years, or 20. It compared preseason rankings to end of season rankings. Texas didn't make the cut. But that's okay, you're an aggy. You'll keep believing what you want to believe

Texas sign sterling So with have sterling(5th year),ryan, emmet, cam coleman Ok ok i got bit over my head. Let me rephrase that I think our wr room might make texas better and help arch manning progression.
For anyone struggling with his grammar, like I am, I ran it through a translator.
“ Following preliminary analysis of Texas’ roster composition, with particular emphasis on the continued presence of Sterling (Year 5) alongside the emergent variables Ryan, Emmett, and Cam Coleman, the author experienced a brief episode of analytical overconfidence. Upon recalibration of the hypothesis, the refined conclusion is as follows: the collective efficiency and depth of the wide receiver cohort may serve as a statistically significant enhancement to overall team performance and function as a developmental accelerator for the Arch Manning quarterback model.”

Can I interject about how nice it is to be back to a point where 10 wins is frustrating and a disappointment?
After what this program has been through, I will never again complain about 10 wins.

Oh shite. Well if a random user posted a thread then I guess that’s the trump card. Great play.
Texas and Notre Dame are consistently the most overrated programs in CFB.
Take a poll.

By that logic Texas and ND being 1-2 in that poll, they would be overrated as to being overrated…

Except for the actual facts that Texas wasn't even in the top 10 of most overrated teams and atm was.
