Welcome to the club of sec teams who have won the regular season championship which is most of us. No big deal but losers like you will rejoice in it I guess.

Baseball is played in Cobb County. I mean it's cool to watch Georgia baseball and I hope they do win, but honestly unless you have had the success of the Gators or LSU, nobody cares. The SEC is a football conference first. We have teams that have had tons of success in other sports (Florida, LSU, Kentucky). Texas is basically Tennessee, but without the recent Baseball title.

Yawn.

30-15
22-19

All you had to do was stop a run that you knew was coming because our QB had one working arm on the play. And yet...

And your football stadium is still named after a Sooner legend and All American.

We are 1 for 1. Texas has won conference titles forever this isn’t new or a huge deal. It’s just fun to fans who only heard shite talking from team SEC about Texas wasn’t ready.

If you think this is a fluke or Texas will somehow revert back to 2010 form you are really going to hate us.

You are such a Texas hater it’s almost laughable. Texas is the top 1-3 at worst baseball program of all time.

You know nothing about college baseball if you even put Texas in the same breath as Tennessee

Do better OU. Without Texas your program is Tulsa. You really want to compare players / coaches who go to OU from Texas lol.

I was just stating a fact, Texas was the first place team in football before the title game.

That can't be a fact, because there is no such thing, or there would be a ton of new banners hanging around SEC stadiums. Probably a few more in BIG 12 stadiums as well. The only champion comes out of the SEC Title game. Do you know why? (You're going to love this) because all schedules are not created equal. Now, if you want to argue that Texas' schedule was as tough as Georgia's then we can have a discussion and if you win that Argument, we can say Texas was "Regular season champions".

I was just pointing out why is it a thing on other sports but not football?
Because football is different than other sports. Why do playoffs have different numbers of teams? Why do other sports have different numbers of players on the field at once or different numbers of players on the team? The obvious answer is because every sport is different. You can't equate any sport with the other sports. They are all different and unique in their own way.

Hey,, Texas did very well in the SEC and deserve the props. I, for one, am happy we got Texas in the conference. It only elevates the caliber of play and will ensure that the SEC continues to dominate almost all sports. Texas, Florida and lSU typically have great teams in a varety of sports. That's good for everybody. Georgia, at one time, could be put in that company, but we seem to have fallen off a bit in gymnastics, golf and tennis. Maybe we can get back there, who knows.

Meanwhile, Texas is strong in most, if not all sports. There is no need to make up fictional titles.

How many times does it have to be said…if it’s not football it doesn’t really matter.

Too bad we screwed up against UGA in the SEC title game in Atlanta would have been nice to go 2/3 for the big sports.

Let me save every poster some time on their excuses why we won the SEC in baseball and were first in the regular season in football. "Texas schedule was easy blah blah blah lol"

What you guys don't seem to understand is that winning the SEC is irrelevant if you can't win the big one. If the SEC is your NC then you don't belong. You guys have yet to do that when given the chance. Thats the standard in this conference. You do help with revenue though. That's the same reason we've kept the faggies around. I'm still not sure why mizzou is still here.

If winning National Championships is the SEC standard, then there are a lot of substandard teams in the SEC.

2024/25 National Champions to date
Basketball (M) - Florida
Gymnastics - Oklahoma
Swimming & Diving (M) - Texas

The amount of easy schedules Texas has been given in multiple sports doesn't seem natural to me.

It all reminds me of the way the NFL propped up the AFC in order to try and make them acceptable additions.

Now it’s time for you to show what you’re made of in the tournament. The regular season is nice, but win the tournament and face great competition away from home base and then you will get all the credit in the world.

The SEC regular season title is far more impressive than the SECT title. A lot of teams don’t even try to compete in the SECT because it doesn’t actually matter. It’s fun to win but the regular season title is what matters
