It’s not even as big as Cal coming to Arkansas. That was the headlines during the final game for several days and all they talked about for a few days.

It is plainly obvious that Texas was interviewing TAMU's coach during the world series. It is plainly obvious this did not happen with Alabama and Kalen DeBoer.
The baseball transfer portal is still currently open, which hurts TAMU as they currently have no coach. Saban retired and DeBoer was hired after the transfer window had already closed.
I'm sure there are other glaringly obvious differences between the two, but just like your comparison to Saban leaving Miami to go to Bama, I'm sure you won't notice.
