He’s an old guy who doesn’t want to coach.

If he wanted to, he’d already be coaching. He’s done, I don’t think he has the drive or fire required anymore.

Would be a 100 million dollar mistake for Texas to hire a retiree with nothing to prove

Dude has legit heart problems, I don’t think he’ll ever be a HC again.

He’s only 63. Thinking USCw actually makes a move for him.

So he’ll be the coach at Texas A&M next year.

If they can steady his heart issues, he may. He has money hand over foot, so would not need to do it for that. Will be because as most great head coaches..he is addicted to the feeling of winning. Addiction is usually bad thing, but not sure that is. Saban, Kirby, Meyer, etc are addicted to that feeling. Most elite coaches are. From Phil Jackson to Andy Reid...it is in all of the successful ones.

they have the same issues UF have

Disinterested admin and unserious boosters

Urban would demand more than they would be comfortable with to go back into coaching

Urban already had his dream job at Ohio State.
At 63 do you think he would really be passionate about coaching Texas?
He has no ties to the state or the school.
