As others have said this incessant whining makes you look weak.
Congrats on your win. The Ags had a bad half and got beat. You can gloat for a whole fricking year.

But we're still playing with 1 loss to your 3.

Bitching about that won't change a thing.

False.. but clearly you are too stupid to understand.

SEC Standings

5 Texas (6-2)
6 OU (6-2)
7 Vanderbilt (6-2)

Despite losing to Florida, Texas is still #5 because Texas beat both teams.

So why is OU in the playoffs while Texas is out? Because Texas scheduled and lost to Ohio State.

It’a really that simple.

The current system penalizes the losing team of those big OOC matchups, but doesn’t help the winner. It’s broken.

Bad half? You’ve scored 17 points in two matchups. What makes you think Elko will ever beat Texas? 1 loss to our 3. How do you think A&M fares vs our schedule? We know you’d beat Florida.

Collin Klein is now 0-5 against PK

0-3 at Kansas State
0-2 at Texas A&M

Klein needs an extension.

Oh...so, so stupid. Thank you for pointing that out.

You know I was kind of feeling for you guys just a little bit. Now, I hope it eats you up all year. Revel in it.
Get some ulcers...kick your cat.

I thought you were one of the decent ones, bro.
Guess I was wrong.

Big fat pussies.. the whole lot of ya.

OU scheduled and beat Michigan.
That win helps OU.

If they would have lost to Michigan then you’d have a point.

They also got their arse whooped by Texas and needed a fluke TD pass to beat Auburn. To be fair though, if we had played Auburn instead of Florida in Week 5, I think we still lose.

Where do you think OU would be ranked if they beat Tulsa instead of Michigan?

I think they’d be ranked the same as I don’t think the Michigan win helped them at all.

Nah. We have 3 losses. We should stay home. I am in no hurry to see sark humiliate us again vs georgia or osu. Seen enough of that this year.

I was actually thinking this morning what Texas’ record would be with A&Ms schedule. I think 11-1. At the time they would have played I don’t think Texas would have beat ND. That being said, still easily a playoff team.

Two losses compared to Your 3. I know math is hard, but 3 is worse than 2

Texas is absolutely better than OU, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt. All teams I’ve enjoyed watching. Especially Vandy.

Your argument doesn't hold water because it can be said you are worse than everyone you lost to. And if you say you were only worse on the day you lost. Every team can say the same. That is why in league play you go by record, and your record is worse.

And I agreed then. Don’t lose to Florida

Why not just beat Ohio State?

Because sark appears incapable of beating osu and georgia

A&M can’t really say that because they lost in Week 14. You are who you are at that point.

Exactly.

If Oklahoma deserves to be in the playoffs, then Texas also deserves to be in the playoffs.

Why? Because Texas is ranked higher in the SEC standings.

OOC games should be considered preseason games and preparaton for the SEC season..

If this happened, we’d get rid of the crappy games that we all play and we’d play 11-12 P4 games each year.

Our SEC & B1G record would determine if we make the playoffs..

OOC games this year that changed a playoff team to a team on the couch.

Texas
Michigan
Alabama (if BYU wins?)
Notre Dame *

Teams that won those OOC games that received no benefit for beating the teams above

Ohio State
they’d still be #1 or #2

Oklahoma
they’d still be #8 ahead of Alabama, even though Alabama finished 2nd in the SEC, and Oklahoma finished 6th

Texas A&M
they’d still be 7th

FSU
they’d still suck

Miami
who knows? They don’t even get the tiebreaker over Notre Dame, a team they beat.

There is no benefit to playing these games right now, only a penalty if you lose.

Why not just schedule Sam Houston instead?

12-0 Ohio State would still be #1
10-2 Texas would be #8 right now

Neither team benefitted, but the losing team will sit at home. I don’t like it, but that’s where we are right now.

eta: It’s not going to matter this year either way as Ohio State is going to repeat, but it needs to get fixed going forward.

So, basically Texas’s last year schedule?

Not to mention, we’ll get that early loss to OSU again next season as well.
