That's one thing I can for sure agree on.
Hearing about this every other month during offseason each year is exhausting. Either get business done and come to agreement on playing each other, or otherwise just don't bring it up since there's no point.
Both teams have enough to deal with right now than seeing who can sound the most petty when dealing with a scheduling hypothetical.

I'd go a step further.
All of the Gannett mouth breathers (Dallas Morning Spooge, Houston Comical, San Antonio Excess Snooze, Austin Anti-American Statist, etc) need to STFU as well.

Theoretically, I agree 100%. Sadly, all of those media conglomerates know that they'll get a big rise out of readers and plenty of comments from the uneducated factions of each fan base in the twitter replies, resulting in a bunch of clicks generated for each article about this topic.
Also, don't both schools have P5 programs scheduled WAY in advance for a while? So the only feasible way this is scheduled is if it happens in the 2030s. Otherwise, each school would need to cancel numerous contracts they have with non-con opponents

Considering Aggy and Texas are both complete afterthoughts outside of the state of Texas, it’s always funny to see both schools act as if they’re too important to consider renewing the series.

Why can’t Texas just have its own conference? They have about 5 programs that are just about on the same level of relevancy.
Just let SMU start cheating a little bit again, and you’ll be good.

I’d bet most schools south of the M-D Line (and farther north as well) have histories that aren’t completely spotless.
