A&M was the first state school founded, not Texas, and is a flagship institution of the state, not a "sub-campus". Austin isn't a college town at all, it's a major city, and Bryan/College Station consists of 200,000 people, hardly a "rural small town"
aTm's facilities aren't unbelievable. They weren't the nicest in the Big 12 and they aren't even the best in the SEC west.

Many more of these bizarre posts about Texas will be coming from aggie fans around here than the SEC regulars will be able to take.
A&M hasn't had a top 5 finish in about 6 decades so they:
1. love to blame Texas for this.....and.....
2. they have learned it is better to start early with the excuses, preferably before the season starts
That is why you are seeing this message at this time complaining about Mack's tactics.
The excitement of A&M's 2011 conference realignment national championship is beginning to wane and they now realize that they actually have to play SEC teams. This is causing a panic among aggie loyalists who know they will need a miracle to go 6-6 this season.
Now, the hurricane is bringing them even more reason to worry. Aggie's new pass happy offense (with a freshman QB) will either be debuted in a severe thunderstorm or (if it is postponed) against Florida's defense. Only a matter of time until Texas is blamed for the storm.
