Go check his stats brah, the guy was smoke and mirrors. The Titans were winning games because of their defense.

The Titans were winning games because of VY. It was unfortunate that Jeff Fisher wanted to feel right more than he wanted to win football games:

VY, when he was allowed to start, was the best deep thrower in the NFL:

Vince walked into a terrible situation. How often do you hear about the front office and the coaches having a bitter dispute about a top pick while that pick is being announced:

LINK

Vince certainly didn't have the best stats. The Titans WR corps was the worst in the NFL during most of his tenure. It would be like expecting someone to set the world on fire as the QB of the Browns the past 2 seasons.

Still, Vince had the best winning % of any full time starter in Titans/Oilers history, 2 Pro Bowls, ROY......and this:

Tuxedo Yoda ?@TuxedoYoda Today is Longhorn Groundhog Day! DeLoss came out of his hole & saw another sex scandal so that means 6 more losses to OU.
Texas has a 35 game advantage in its series against Arkansas and a 39 game advantage in its series against A&M. Texas dominated both programs. Hard to call either a rivalry. Still, if pressed, from a historical perspective, more game against Arkansas mattered.

Texas only has a 16 game advantage in its series against OU so that is more of a rivalry.

A&M's only legit national title, and the 2 it made up out of the blue last summer, came well before 1975. Why do aggies act like adding coeds & becoming a traditional university has positively affected their football program? A&M has done nothing that matters in the modern era of football except cheat like hell with nothing to show for it.
This debate was over before it started - aggies gave themselves 2 new titles just last summer.

Should I be the first to say that a young Tyson in his prime would embarrass them both?
Haven't the Falcons played the easiest schedule in the NFL this season?

If Marciano made it past round 1 I would be shocked.

shite's hard when you're a tiny all military college until 1970. After that changed the record is pretty even

you do understand that there is about a 2 game difference over the past 40 yrs right?

A&M won its only national title when it was a "tiny all military college" yet their own fans try to dismiss the validity of that period so that they can justify their losing record to Texas. Tragic.

In the modern era of college football, since teams have been wearing facemasks, A&M is a nothing program. You were supposed to kill Texas last season at home, that didn't work out so well. You'll choke it away against the Horns in the Cotton Bowl - and you know it.
Auburn o-line looks absolutely disinterested.

As usual, the aggies around here have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

This play was reviewed during the game and the call stood. There was no clear recovery by OSU in the pile.

Really?

They had as many Big 12 titles in football as my left nut.

They had as many BCS bowl game appearances as my right nut.

Solid academic school and I like the town but, in terms of athletics, Mizzou is a joke.
Mizzou was meaningless in the Big 12.

They are meaningless in the SEC.

It kills the aggies that playing Texas means a million times more to the Ole Miss fans/alumni than it could ever mean to play a&m.
For some bizarre reason, the aggies designed a stadium with most of the seats in the endzone. Like everything else in College Station, it makes no sense.

That is what this is about for A&M. Making the most of its regular season. Aggies had no shot of ever playing the SEC's best in January when it matters, so now they get to play them in Sept & Oct.

Ummm, not to be a homer, but Mizzou played for Conference titles in 07 (Finished 4th) and 08

Big 12 North was a colossal joke. You should be embarrassed for even posting this.

Vols look really good. I don't think anyone, regardless of conference, wants to play them.
