I’m sure that Emory is a great school. And if they have a lot of money, great. I hope that a lot goes into healthcare research, training, and expertise that can help all of us.
That said, I don’t know any Texas alums or fans who waste time worrying about competing with Emory. Seems like you are actually wasting everyone’s time here with this thread which you imagined out of thin air?

Emory also shits on Vandy academically. Vandy’s being propped up by the marketing it gets from being in the SEC, which increases yields, which lowers acceptance rates, and boosts their rank.
If it wasn’t for the SEC, Vandy would look like Tulane.

Emory is a fine university, they should be proud of what they have established.
The Texas economy is somewhere around $3 trillion. You don’t billionize that.
