You have no idea what it feels to be an opposing team in a night game in Death Valley, or playing against top 25 teams week after week after week. It’s hard to do, even most all of our national championship teams lost one or more games.

The LHN pissed off the entire conference. Texas reached out to us to partner the network and then launched it on their own. DDodds said that it was to get coverage for the "other" sports, they wanted to air high school football games on the network. We all know how much influence on recruiting if these games were to air. Dave Brown was quoted on Austin radio saying that they wanted to put Aledo games on the station because of Johnathan Gray. Bob Stoops told SI that Texas needed to play by the same rules as everyone else. Dan Beebe deferred to Texas in every turn, which pissed off much of the conference. Texas ran the Big12 and all the other members knew it.
The LHN launched many great careers during its time, including winning 33 Emmy's.
