Neyland Stadium is next to the Tennessee River
College Station has a campus in Galveston that is considered part of the main campus. That campus operates 1 of 6 Federal Maritime Training schools and we operate an actual seafaring ship.
In 2025, we get a new one. Changing from a 224ft 14,000 ton transport to a modern 524ft somewhere in the 20,000 ton range ship.
These ships serve as US Maritime training vessels as well as with emergency assistance and other federal uses. We had one transferred to the Air Force of all places after it went to assist with the Katrina fallout. I think we get a temporary next year from Massachussetts until our new one arrives. I believe they are getting a new one of the same class before us.
The new one is purpose built for maritime training which is different. All the other ones in the past were assigned by the federal government to the school after long service lives in the US Navy. The current one started life as a transport ship in WWII.
TAMU-Galveston is the only school in the A&M system that offers the same degree as the main campus in College Station. All the other schools have TAMU-xxxx as the school on the degree.

Clearly it’s something that very much bothers UT. If it didn’t, they wouldn’t resort to banning this guy from singing.
UT is so easily triggered. Gonna be a rocky road for them in the SEC

Buy a ticket and bring a bull horn or a Mr Microphone.

This is 100% true.
Big bad Aggie so completely controls the national media that we pushed our own myth and made EVERYONE across the country believe it.
Well, yes, except for the big and bad part or y'all controlling anything, because you ain't shite. It doesn't happen overnight.
The event happened the way it did, some aggy on Texags distorts the story, other aggots repeat it to each other as part of your fricktard oral tradition, the lie gets repeated over and over until it's bona fide aggy truth (folklore). You all move to the SEC and repeat the lie over here, some media type reads it here and writes on it, then some dipshit Finebaum type reads what that guy wrote and repeats it on blast. Lather rinse repeat over the course of the two or so decades since it happened it has become accepted fact.
Not sure why you wouldn't understand how this happens when the entirety of the aggy 12th Man mythos was built in the same way. Hell, you can see it in real time because it's happening right now with the recruiting class you just bought.

Stadiums of fans all showing horns down and laughing at UTexas
Yep, this will happen, and it will happen at games not even involving Texas. You'll all go out and spend money to buy a licensed Texas Longhorn logo just so you can stick it on upside down.
It will indeed be fun, and not a one of you will see the irony.

Texas didn't have anything to do with the Big 12 making a rule about it or this
LOL yeah right.
Posted on 6/14/22 at 3:56 pm to GamerAg
Exactly, that’s right. The rule was implemented in 2019, nobody from Texas knew anything about it, and when asked at Big 12 media days, Tom Herman said “it’s flattering that teams think about us.”
What’s funny is that it has never once been flagged in competition, and I’m pretty sure Texas has been flagged more for taunting/unsportsmanlike conduct than other teams they’ve played since.
Seems pretty far cry from taking matters into our own hands. Then again, you probably think that Ross Bjork is controlling the narrative by A&M emailing the SEC asking Sankey and Saban to stop picking on them

Dang. 8 years after A&M left the Big 12.
The sheer power and reach of A&M's online message board rumor-spreading capabilites is FAR beyond anything I had ever imagined.

This is what I see it as. It's intended to be disrespectful, so why are we thin skinned for taking it as such?

Jesus Christ if the refs call a penalty on an SEC team for horns down, that ref better have armor guards to escort them (for the last time) out of the stadium

Oh child, nobody in the SEC cares about UTexas, let alone go out and buy things with UTexas logos. Y'all are like the red head step child
Unless OU or TexasAM (maybe Ark) nobody will do the horns down sign unless they are playing Texas.
While you think UTexas is respect and feared (lol) the truth is that UTexas will struggle in most sports to be 3rd in their division (even if it is a pod of 4)
Y'all are in for a hard road once UTexas gets into the SEC, and I mean H A R D
Alabama will show you in Sept.

lol- you have not really played at UT (once in 2020). The Vol Navy is the fans coming in on the river and docking by the Stadium

to be fair he did it while singing the national anthem. and it was the ncaa that did it. texas had nothing to do with it.
Posted on 6/14/22 at 7:20 pm to TideFaninFl
Yeah but TideFaninFl, I’m the Aggies mind since the campus in Galveston is only about 150 miles from College Station they consider it part of the “main campus” and therefore have their own “real” Navy, I guess that’s where they got the Gay cheerleaders I’m the Navy all whites, that “tradition” makes total sense now!
Posted on 6/14/22 at 7:21 pm to DuckTalesLOL
Only the stiffs in the Texas administration care about that shite. The players certainly don’t.
It’s a sign of respect when even East Carolina baseball fans do it. We’re nationwide.
