I love the good old "you lose more in Omaha than anybody" meanwhile neglecting that your own team either lost as well or wasn't even good enough to make it to Omaha those years.
But sure, keep thinking that losing in Omaha (the gold standard of a baseball season in college baseball) is a humiliating endeavor.

Dont have to. We are the #1 team this year and will very likely win an SEC bball title in year 1. Then we are very likely going to see 4-5 SEC teams in Omaha and we will see where the dust settles there.
Comparing Texas 20 year drought in Nattys is silly in 2025 given its a new Admin, staff, coaching players, etc for the teams of the past 20 years. If you want to hold onto some theory that the past 20 years is indicative of how every year will go for Texas from here until eternity have at it. However, things are cyclical and NIL + transfer portal has really opened an advantage for teams who are close and need a few rosters spots to get over the hump. Texas is right there in football and is way ahead of schedule in baseball but lets see there things end the next 4 years. I think in football or baseball Texas has a natty in atleast 1 if not both.

So like I said, when it comes to actual championships, OP is right. Texas stands alone and they have no equal…. in third place. You’re in the SEC now and success is measured in national championships.
