What’s funny?

Is not firing all of your coaches and having 80% of your anticipated starters transfer out a complete rebuild?

If not, what metric would you use?

I think what's funny is none of the "rebuild" excuse was there before we actually played the game last year.

It was just all about how Aggie was gonna give us a big ol' SEC welcome.

And then... uh-oh

Really? That’s not true at all. We had just lost to South Carolina and Auburn and were in disarray

I see, so then after Mizzou beats you in 2 weeks, we can call it "disarray" when Texas wins

, Aggy will always move the goal post on arguments, especially the trolls in here. That old saying about arguing/fighting a pig comes to mind..

I don't understand all the trash talk about the 2024 game.

The 'sips had a pretty damned good team, and the Ags had a decent team. The 'sips were ranked #3, and my Ags were ranked #20. I don't think many Ags actually EXPECTED to win the game.

All things considered, I think that 17-7 was a respectable showing for Old Army.

This year, the tables are turned. The Ags have a damned good team, and the 'horns have a pretty decent team. If the 'horns manage a win THIS year, they will have something to crow about.

But I don't see it happening.

If the Ags win 17-7, again, I don't see that we will have much to crow about. On the other hand, it would be fun to watch the aftermath of a 49-25 beatdown at DKR.

Probably not the best thread to make given your flare, let's look at #3 Texas A&M's schedule to date

UTSA 3-4
Utah State 4-4(year 1 coach)
@ Notre Dame 6-2
Auburn 4-4(coach soon to be fired)
Mississippi State 4-4(coach soon to be fired)
Florida 3-4(coach fired)
@ Arkansas 2-6(coach fired)
@ LSU 5-3(coach fired immediately after the game)

So, Aggie opponents to date are a collective 31-31. Exactly average.

Our remaining opponents are a collective 16-16. Exactly average.

Without running the numbers, I think that the 'sips opponents to date are about 3-4 games below .500, while their remaining opponents are a bit over .500.

I don't seem much to discuss there.

You do realize your own team is 8-0. Aggy would not be on my mind if I were in your shoes. Glad to see you care so much though, with your analysis. All we can say about all that is we play whoever is on the schedule. Kinda like what I hear ags saying today about your weak schedule and great record right now.

Considering 3 of our last 4 games are against top 10 teams, yeah it's "a bit over .500"

Scoreboard Agroid.

And big words from someone who hasn't even won a conference title since 1998. Which for you means probably never in your lifetime. Go win something.

I am an Aggie, but this does not look right.

Any Aggie who takes off the maroon tinted shades sees the obvious flaw in this post and topic to bring up as a new thread.

Add to that we're literally going through the same scenario right now with the best team we've had in years.

Regardless to all of the above, stop worrying and posting about texas while we have our own much bigger thing going on. Some of our own can't help themselves with this stupid stuff it seems.

That wasn't by chance either...it was a backdoor off the record deal negotiated between TX and SEC.

OU was playing checkers and walked right in with no idea what was going to happen.
