That's been my favorite part of this site and why it's so hard to stay away. They all wanted, so badly, for us to come in the first season, fall on our faces so they could all stick out their chests and exclaim "Welcome to the SEC!"
When that didn't happen, they had to pivot. I give them credit. They sure did it without hesitation

aggy and Alabama had to recalibrate. aggy is no longer as cocky as during those aggy SEC years before Texas arrived, when aggy no longer had to play us…

Of course, we have the toughest schedule. We pick Ohio State for an OOC game while some SEC schools select The Citadel and Missouri State.

Haha. Texas ducked A&M during those years bc Charlie Strong and Tom Herman were getting their asses beat on the regular.

Didn't y'all also play SJSU, UTEP and Sam Houston? That is a tough bunch of OOC teams.
