More than anything troll board is how many whiny lsu fan there are. Guess that happens when Texas comes in, and in year one knocks their sports program down in the sec pecking order

It’s amazing this thread somehow turned into ab or valuing the importance of a regular season SEC baseball championship. The thread was about the fact that your baseball season is on the line on a beautiful day and you can barely fill half your stadium. That is simply embarrassing.

Winning the SEC in football is the goal because it will put you in position to win the National Championship. In baseball, the goal is to get a Top 8 Seed to position your team for Omaha.
Winning the SEC is great, but you can still get a Top 8 seed and win the National Championship without doing so.
I understand that Texas has no perspective for any of this, so no hard feelings….its like explaining it to Texas AM, I get it, you don’t know

One sport. Maybe or maybe not get knocked off. But Texas is a way better athletic program than lsu. For instance, you football program has been knocked down a tier. More to come in the years :)

While I do agree with you, and it’s a very big accomplishment. However, Since SEC teams are winning national titles every year lately, it’s been diminished quite a bit.
I can tell you that ole Miss won the title in 2022, but have no clue who won the sec that year. Same for miss state in 2021. Same for Vandy in 2019. I know Arkansas made the CWS Finals in 2018, but have no idea who won the sec that year. Same for 2017 when lsu lost to Florida in the CWS finals.

LSU has won 3 Football National Titles to Texas 1
LSU has won 3 Baseball National Titles to Texas 2
LSU has been to the Final Four once and Texas once.
In what metric is Texas better than LSU in the men’s big 3 sports?????
