Have any of you ever bothered to look up the members of the former SWC rather than just sit here and lap up all the screeching from Arky and Aggot?
I'd love for somebody to post that SWC member list here and watch tRant posters attempt to explain to me how that conference had a viable future.

Texas akways has been the Karen of college football. Racist, self entitled, whiney bitches. They destroyed the old Southwest Conference before the killed the Big 12. Their fan base is already coming on the rant talking about getting rid of other SEC schools, talking about running the SEC admin.

How about the fact that in 2010 A&M tried to lead 4 other B12 teams to join the B10? That predates the LHN.

What??? We never had interest in the B10. Now tu did try to get us all to join the PAC 12. Larry Scott showed up on our campus with a detailed plan on how it would happen and tu told us “ don’t worry we will take care of you”. We said no thanks and immediately starting talking to Slive.

Go back to the 70s when the Pac 8 decided to bring in both Arizona schools and this coinciding with asu becoming a top 10 team under frank kush got peoples attention.
The real first domino was the smu scandal and the swc having so many team’s sanctioned at once that tv deals were struggling. The swc thought they had too many schools that weren’t pulling their weight either as did the big 8 which was essentially Nebraska and Oklahoma. The outsider in the swc was arkie and when they left others followed. But the real first domino was the collapse of the swc.

Yep. Big bad Texas is the power broker in college sports. That's why I think its so funny that all these little SEC red bloods think they can rein in Texas.
