Texas and Tennessee. Same T on the hat, same unflattering school colors and same bad fan takes on their teams. I've always been partial to Arkansas and State but never more so than now. Carry on Hogs

Not really, it was always a limited roster. Schloss has gotten a ton out of them thus far. Even navigating injury pretty well. You can’t peg the entire opposing team with breaking balls all series and expect to win games on the road. We could forfeit the remainder of our schedule and host a regional. You got to find a couple arms in that window.

Definitely some burnt orange shades being worn by some of the posters on this site but I agree Schloss has us ahead of schedule. Everyone can complain about this years schedule being favorable but assuming we will have it flipped next year there shouldn’t be any excuses from fans from other teams around year this time next year.

In the field we currently sport 6 underclassmen, and our best pitcher is a freshman. With Schloss’s coaching, our incoming recruiting class, and Schloss’s ability to utilize the portal we should be able to compete in the top 5 of the SEC year in and year out.

We got that arse beat the last two night so I’m excited to see how they respond after Schloss presumably pulling a page out of the Augie Garrido handbook in the locker room last night. Hopefully we see a difference, maybe we don’t. No matter what we will still be in a great position to host and compete for a chance to play in Omaha.

Hook ‘em and thank you to the Hogs for handing that arse whooping. Iron sharpens iron.

I did not think Texas would be where we are at this point in the season. One series loss on the road to Arky who we have not been doing well against in general in recent times. If we are able to avoid the sweep today, I'd consider it a win this weekend. Still puts us in the driver seat and hopefully our pitching mound and offense rebounds after this weekend.
