I could never see myself being friends with a horn fan on tRant. That’s bad for the reputation. Cordial maybe. But they are friends on here. Acting like lovers on every thread.

This makes sense, I suppose. They bonded together in their old conference as a defense mechanism against a flurry of nuisances.
Maybe they felt themselves better than everyone else, in the Big 12, etc... and mutually sneered at all the little brothers.
In doing so, it seems like they are just one fan-base to people not associated with them.

I know. It is very apparent they have a deep caring for each other in ways that SEC fans just don't really relate to or understand.

It doesn’t make sense. He’s saying they have to be friends bc they hate A&M and Okie Lite together. They been holding hands since they joined the conference bc it’s somehow some former Big 12 teams fault.

That's the point of the thread. Rivalry does not mean to Texas and Oklahoma fans what it means to auburn and Alabama fans or any other heated rivalry in the nation.
Tell us how it isn't the same. What makes this so called "rivalry" between Oklahoma and Texas so unique and different and bereft of any ill feelings whatsoever.

I hope this thread, if anything, makes other posters here more aware of the "special" relationships the posters of the two teams have with each other.
Who wasn't waiting on some epic trolling and flaming threads between Texas and Oklahoma fans that would shame anything we've seen between A&M and Longhorns?
I was, I was looking forward to it and thought it would be great and interesting but, it just isn't there. That type of disgust just simply doesn't exist between them.
I think they are like one team and one fan-base, really. A&M and Texas, I can respect that. Oklahoma and Texas, not so much.
It's more like a romantic relationship between the two.

How do you personally feel about Texas fans? Do you really respect them and their history and are proud to be a respected and honored opponent of the Longhorns and their fans and wish them nothing but the best against anyone but Oklahoma?

In other words, I know that you deeply care for and love Texas fans and Texas when they aren't playing Oklahoma and sort of consider them and their team to be an extension of your team and your fanbase.
