texas is.. well doing what texas does. Their shtick seems to work better as a bigger fish in a smaller pond but I am open to see how they adapt in the long run.

Texas will continue frying aggy's arse regardless of what pond you happen to be in.

TEXAS has more wins vs aggy in Austin, Collie Station, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and others.

Eat your heart out 7-5, how does 13-3 sound ? You guys lost almost twice the SEC games in one year we did in two. ?

That being said, I do not understand your post, when Texas has beaten you two years in a row, and only two years in the conference.

I see a few texas fans took my post as a slight. I'm not the type of Aggie that hates all things texas - minus Thanksgiving game week, I'll go in a bit there for the fun of the rivalry.

Was I the most complementary? No. But what I meant was texas is going to do what they can to gain advantages where they can, at a level higher than most. A small but relevant example is the amount of commercial advertising we see this season involving longhorn fans and their football team.

Again, I am interested to see how you adapt in the new conference given the change in teams and competition you now face. I really didn't mean it much beyond general curiosity and poked fun at yall being in the Big 12 up to recently. If you take offense to the above, that's not my problem.

Oklahoma, any regrets?by JayAg
But you guys were the 5th team taken? Why spin it as if you guys won the league.

But, but when the year is complete, you ags will have still failed to win your FIRST PLAYOFF game

Arizona State won the Big 12 last year, Texas Tech this year. In 2 years in the SEC, you guys have one championship appearance combined and 0 conference titles. Do you think life would be easier if you had stayed in the Big 12? Are the benefits of the SEC worth not being the kings any longer?

I dig the crap out of it. Feel like we're finally home with family, eatin some collard greens and cone bread.

Only regret is that Bob Bullock blocked us from joining the SEC straight out of the SWC.

SEC teams that haven't since then: -LSU -Auburn -State -Vandy -Florida -Mizzou -Arkansas -Kentucky -South Carolina

It’s usually the lsu fans talking shite two weeks after losing to OU LOL…. Can’t make this crap up . Bama fans have quited down quite a bit since the defeats last two years . Mizery completely scolded this year . I have seen a few Florida fans pop off but they remember the last time we played it wasnt pretty . The other fans have been pretty respectful .

Dumb thread. We've already seen this play out. Well, at least OU has. In some of the championship/playoff games OU played (Florida 08 and Georgia 2016 in particular), the talent was there to win it all, the single biggest difference in my opinion was that the other team was battle tested.
