Texas A&M will be biggest bust in SEC this year!

Go ahead and mark it down, the Aggies are going to be a middle of the pack team in the West, at best. The reality is Jimbo is the most overrated coach in the country. In his first three seasons at A&M, he has already lost 10 games but Aggie fans are so desperate, they will take anything. The fact is last year was a Covid year and really should not even count due to the large number of players opting out and other teams playing very few games.
The reality is Fisher can't win without a marquee QB. Check the records and it will confirm everything I'm saying. Mond is gone and he won with Winston, that's it.
At FSU, Fisher had one 6-loss season, two 4-loss seasons and two 3-loss seasons. Most of that time was when Clemson was not as dominant as they are now, not to mention Fisher was in one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country. That record at any of the elite SEC programs and you would have been given your walking papers!
Get ready Aggie fans, it's going to be a long season! And don't worry Saban is going to bury Fisher for his little comment about beating Alabama and show him who is the top coach in the SEC and the country.

Look at their schedule. With their talent on the lines and run game they can sleep walk into 8-9 wins.

Seriously, I saw their qb play in high school and he SUCKS. One game he threw 4 INT's. He's going to lose aggie 3-4 games himself. Bama is gonna eat him alive..

The fact that you implied Mond was a "marquee" QB tells me everything I need to know about the validity of this opinion.

Mond was the best the Aggies had to offer last year! I consider Mond a decent QB, but he had experience and it was a Covid year so he looked pretty good compared to a regular year!

JMO but LSU, Bama, and A&M could struggle this year OR all three might be really good.
Nick and Jimbo bringing in new QB's while Big Ed is trying to get everybody back from slapping each other on the back for 2019.

That's literally the exact opposite of my point. Mond was not particularly gifted when compared to other big time P5 QB's. His reads were limited, the offense limited his ability to run, and he had a tendency to be very careless at times. Not to mentioned he ran way too hot and cold. He had no middle ground. He also could not be accurate beyond 20 - 25 yards to save his life.
Jimbo is well-known as a QB guru. He didn't recruit Mond, he inherited him. And Jimbo still turned him into a pretty good QB despite the limitations. Imagine what he can do with a kid he actually picked that has twice the natural talent Mond ever had. People forget this will be the first actual Jimbo recruit at QB since he's been here.

I still can't believe Jimbo didn't hit Mond in one of those sideline meeting when Mond came off the field after a failed series. The look on Jimbo's face was priceless.

, I remember those interactions well. That's my point though. Mond was simply the best option Jimbo had. And Jimbo got just about the most one possibly could have out of him.
Say what you will about Jimbo (my one knock on him would be stubbornness), but he IS a QB guy. He always has been. And now we have an elite QB, at least according to every available recruiting metric, behind center. But to your point, how quick this kid can get off the runway will tell the story for 2021. The talent is there. How quickly this kid can manifest it is the operative question.
