That is because all of the athletic students and their girl friends are on scholarship at bama.

What's average for a student football season pass in the SEC?
Georgia is $8 per game.

I don't believe that Alabama charges athletic student fees.

LSU is one of only 2 (?) schools that does not use student fees or gov't money to fund the athletic program.

I know it's an opinion but he is pretty accurate.

No, LSU stopped having one back in the '80s.

LSU doesn't charge athletic fees to students or use state money. Further, student football tickets are less than 100 dollars and every other sport is free for fulltime students in good academic standing

In Houston tonight the Sports guy on Channel 13 said the Aggies are raising the ticket prices by $50/game and $25/game for students. That would work out to roughly $3.8 mil. per game. Not sure what the old prices were but can you imagine what the Rant would do if LSU raised their prices that amount??
The price increase was not per game, but rather, for the season ticket package ($400 to $450 for regular season tickets, $200 to $225 for student season tickets).

Gotta pay that 12.4 mill to the big 12 somehow.

Acutally I would say the raising ticket prices is for the $150 to $300 million renovation we are planning to do to Kyle Field. Hopefully we can start moving forward on the project now that the buyout with the Big 12 is settled. Should have a plan in place for Kyle renovations by the end of this year.
