I'd take the ST louis viewers, but would prefer OU

Yeah, as others said, no way in heck we are getting rid of Auburn-Georgia. Moving Alabama and Auburn together would be the only thing that would make sense, but having 5 of the big 6 in the SEC in one division would be way too unbalanced. Ark and A&M would have to really step it up or LSU would just steamroll every year.
Can't do this without moving a team west. Otherwise, there would be 6 teams in the West and 8 in the East.

A&M and Clemson/FSU/Miami... don't really want anyone else.

I think them, along with a team on the East Coast could keep the league balanced and make sense geographically.

We already have South Carolina and Florida TV markets.

Pods make no sense to me and should be avoided. A 14 team conference would work fine with a 9 game conference schedule. I think a 16 team conference would divide the East and West too much, turning them almost into their own conferences which I don't want to see.

Virginia Tech or perhaps a North Carolina school?

Why would any of these 3 teams want to come to the SEC? What additional money would either of these 3 add to the conference pool to make up for the share they would collect?

TAMU and Va Tech make the most sense in expanding the SEC's market share.

We need to bring in TAMU & UNC. Meh football teams, but here's the kicker, great basketball and baseball teams. Tie that to two new markets, you have a winner.

Of all the ACC schools mentioned, Florida State is the most realistic. Because of their national brand, they demand higher TV dollars from the networks. I'm not so sure Clemson or Miami really add to the pie.
All that said, I have no idea if Florida State would have any interest in joining the SEC. You may be right ... they may be content where they're at.
But from the SEC's perspective, I do believe Florida State increases the value in the league and would demand more dollars from the networks.

They can't even sellout their stadium and practically give season tickets away.

Personally, if I was an ACC school then I wouldn't even consider jumping right now. It's obvious the Big 12 is going to implode which leaves us with 5 BCS conferences. One more has to go before we get to superconference and that is most likely the Big East. If I was an ACC school (VT, FSU, Clemson), I would stay in the conference that is extremely stable where I have an easy road to the BCS games instead of jumping to what is quickly becoming murderer's row in the SEC where I may not be so successful anymore.
Seems like a no brainer to me if I was an ACC school but everyone wants to be in the SEC it seems so you never know what will happen.

Big12 ADs meeting today....A&M/Missouri SEC decision could happen soon.

I think Mizzou violates the Southeastern part of the Southeastern Conference
i don't really consider Fayetteville to be the south or southeast either.
But Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt are, ha, ok. Which 3 of those school's are almost exactly even on latitude scale; Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Tennessee.
Arkansas is older than Mississippi State and Vanderbilt and founded shortly after LSU. Now, if you would've said Arkansas is a little more Mid-South/fringe Southeast, I agree.

Mizzou has no buisness at all in the SEC but we compromised our standards when we let Arky in so I guess there's no going back now.

Um.. South Carolina, Ole Miss, MSU, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Half the SEC is crap, I'd be thanking us for being here.
You're welcome.
