Many more will “opt out” after their 1-2 start.

Injuries have had an impact before the year starts
Only at tight end. Every other position has been relatively injury-free.

I a fine with any player opting out . . it is just a game after all.
To do it a week before the season kicks off is lame though. There are some rumors on the A&M board that he may have lost his starting spot to Aaron Hansford. That sounds like sour grapes to me as the kid is a super-talented multi-year starter.

When did “quitting” become “opting out?”

What is SJW?
Impossible to answer without delving into politics—a practice that this website’s owners have [understandably] asked that we not do on this board.

SJW means social justice warrior. Typically very thin beta soy bois, or fugly angry alpha white women. Regardless of actual gender, they are pretty serious about their preferred pronouns. Not so serious about their hygiene.

IKR?
His explanation was highly disappointing.
And insulting.
In 20 years, some of these kids are going to look back on their lives and question their decisions.
And lack of gratitude.
To each his own.
Texas A&M University is bigger than one player’s feelings.
Onward.

As I said when Mond called all the alumni racists I hoped that the Ags would go 0-10. Looks like I may get my wish.

nah we better off without the quitters

It’s called seeing the writing on the wall. Tough to get drafted if you get passes up by a younger player.

Byeeeeeeee!
Can’t wait for Mond to opt out and leave Aggieland... I don’t see the Aggies winning more than 8 with Mond at the helm.
Let’s get the King era started!

It was confirmed the depth chart was released today. Hines released his statement after. The reason behind his decision is obvious.

Still, if injuries occur Hines could have contributed, and possibly won his job back. I'm so sick of this younger generation that quits when things aren't handed to them. That crap wouldn't have flown in any sport as little as 10 years ago.
Kudos to Hansford for toughing it out, and working hard
