A&M finished 3rd in football in 1994. Went undefeated. Started 1995 ranked 3rd, first game, they beat the shite out of LSU in Dinardo's first game.

Top 4? Who cares. Its embarrassing that we havent won a title but we finished 5th in 2012 and beat the National Champion, Bama. Its not like finishing 4th would mean any more...
And we finished #8 in 1994. We were on probation so not eligible for post season.

Really? You chose 1994 as your example? How'd your bowl game go that year? Oh that's right, you weren't in one because you were serving NCAA sanctions for cheating and you were ineligible for the coaches poll...but really, great choice of years!
