Double eagle is an awesome oil company IMO. They keep going somewhere. Make hole and hit big. Then sell off. I think they are now double eagle IV. So they sold out 3 times now and started over. They have played the market the best out of any mid major

Not really . As long as we play you clowns we'll be fine. Beating aggy while both were Big-12 was a pretty regular thing. Would imagine if we catch you in the playoffs it wont be much different than in the past.

I have no idea what late 90's and early 2000's games have to do with this season but I suppose as a Tech fan you gotta hold on tight to what makes you happy.

A&M has a team that can compete this year but A&M is also legit worried about Tech rising up through NIL and proving something before they do. They want to be number 1 in Texas, but they are finally going to be pushed (against their will) in a battle for number 2.
The thing we know about them is it's always related to their standing in and versus Texas, it all comes down to that. Texas A&M schedules all the powerhouses outside the SEC...Sam Houston..Lamar..Rice..UTEP, Prairie View A&M...SMU..before NIL of course. Other unnamed Texas matchups aren't "mutually beneficial" meaning an "ego disaster" if they lose. That first loss to Texas was beyond painful for them and now that Tech can force the issue between them with a CFP & dedicated NIL on their side..they are scared.
I would wager their NIL is actually higher than anyones outside of Ohio State. Aggie will get a title one day, we should all accept it..They'll continue to pour money into their program and eventually it'll click but their return on investment is hysterical and the suffering amuses me. But If the stars aligned-- and Tech snagged a title to definitively move up to #2 in Texas football...

I have lived in Texas since I graduated college in the 90s. I don't think anyone outside of the Texas Panhandle and Midland/Odessa ever think about Texas Tech at all. Why would they?
