Pony Exce$$ is fricking awesome. The way they handed out penalties seemed shitty, like Houston got a TV or bowl ban for some relatively minor stuff, I guess b/c they were an upstart. Anyway, between sanctions and Arkansas leaving, it was a joke of a conference by the early 90s

A&M very nearly got the death penalty just like SMU. I mean, everyone was cheatin in the SWC, but some were more egregious

NCAA said there were enough unique factors that it was an inappropriate penalty in this case
