What do you think A&M and Mizzou's number one thing to accomplish in the SEC this coming year will be? I honestly don't know. Some input from their fans would be great!

1)Win 2-3 conference games

Win an overly easy OOC schedule, win against SEC east teams and Ole miss

Missouri's goal should be to challenge for the East IMO, as weak as the East is push hard.

A&M's goal should be to finish above .500 in the West.

Think the OP was asking about Mizzou and ATM; not Georgia.

1)Win east (practically a given)
2)Win SEC
3)Win BCS bowl

finish the season with half of our team alive.

buuut if we can do that, i would take .500 in conference and sneak a big win (lsu, arky, bama) out somewhere

Mizzous goal should be to challenge Kentucky for SEC Title in bball. Won't happen, but both of these teams will make a far great impact in bball than football for a while. Unless that includes giving LSU great access to Texas recruits

There is no reason to believe that both teams cannot compete immediately.

Missouri:

Beat:
Vandy
Tennessee
Kentucky

Win 1 of these:
Florida
South Carolina
Georgia

Stay within 7 of:
Arkansas

A&M:

Beat:
Ole Miss
OCC

Win 2 of the following 4:
Miss State
Florida
South Carolina
Arkansas

Stay within 10 of these two:
Alabama
LSU

That is absolutely reasonable for both teams. Anything less would be an unacceptable disappointment.

So if A&M loses by 2 touchdowns to LSU and bama the season is a failure?

^^ Replace South Carolina with Auburn. We don't play USCe this year.

If its not win the SEC, then they will never be competitive.

Got to aim high.

A&M - Make a bowl game. Which will require 7 wins since we scheduled 2 FCS opponents.

For Mizzou, one goal is to stay healthy. We had a lot of injuries last year, and it hurt us. We have several starters out of spring ball due to injuries/surgery recoveries. I'd like to see us be at full strength to start the season, and stay as healthy as we can from there.

I'd be satisfied if we go .500 in conference this season. That would be a decent result considering there's only 2 teams on the schedule this season that we've played in recent memory - ASU and A&M. That's a lot to prep for. A "stretch goal" would be to challenge for the East. I think that's possible, not highly likely in our first year, but possible with an upset or 2.

After this, Mizzou is one of only a few teams to have at least 8 wins/year in the past 6 or 7 seasons. I'd like to see us keep this streak alive, and continue our bowl attendance streak.

I'd also like to see us recruit well and take several DL recruits. We're in decent shape at DE, but need tackles.

ETA: this is trying to be reasonable. What I'd like to see is us to upset a couple of teams and win the East with a 10-2 or 9-3 record. Realistically, just don't think it'll happen in year 1.
