What's the Act of Contrition for a swamp cat to be dick ridin Alabama?

Ogbuehi was only a Sophomore last year so no he wasn't on the radar as much as the 2 clear 1st Rounders next to him. He's got all the tools though and will move into Jake's spot this year. He'd be a starting LT on 90% of the teams in college football and he had to play Guard for us last year. Harrison is a physical freak that is a monster that can move. Mike Sherman consistently stated both would be 1st Rounders and he used to be an NFL GM and OL coach (now an NFL OC).
and yet neither has received any attention yet.

no one consistently got pressure on Manziel all year
of course not he is a scrambling QB.

A&M was effective running the ball all year,
are you counting Manziel's yards?

Bama had trouble running the ball.
Not really. Lacy had 16 carries for 92 yards. Averaged over 5 yards per carry and his longest run was only 18 yards.

Bama had a great OL but A&M's was just better. I can't even count how many times JFF had 10 seconds to throw the ball.
I'm going to disagree. A&M had a good line and may get the nod in pass blocking, but Alabama wins run blocking and overall.

No worries. When I see it happen, it's almost like seeing a unicorn.

Is this really being debated?

Each played to their strengths.
No one needs that type of level headed crap here.
What was Alabama's average rushing per game? Was it higher or lower against A&M? Was it even worth mentioning or just a few yards difference?

More importantly though no one consistently got pressure on Manziel all year and A&M was effective running the ball all year, esp in short yardage. The head to head game with A&M and Bama isn't the whole tale but it certainly matters in comparison. A&M got consistent pressure on the QB and Bama had trouble running the ball. That's why on the final drive Bama didn't just run it, they tried on 1st down and got stuffed and then had to try to pass it to get it in after having 1st and Goal and just a few yards to win the game in front of them.
Ironically over the season Manziel got criticized for lack of TD's in some of the big games but a big part of the reason was A&M would just hand it off inside the 10 to their RB's and just run people over.
Bama had a great OL but A&M's was just better. I can't even count how many times JFF had 10 seconds to throw the ball.

Ok? Warmack and Fluker are foregone conclusions right now, and if Barrett hadn't gotten hurt he'd be a first as well. Don't be surprised if CyKo jumps Lewan and Matthews next season though. Not saying it will happen, but it could.
As what? A center? The best centers in the draft are rarely, if ever, taken in the first round, and he is an average at best center.

Anyway I don't think many people outside of A&M think you had the better OL, but keep thinking you do. You're acting just like Arky fans did last offseason.
Lots did... we had the best offensive lineman in the country...

Debatable between he and Warmack, but either way one OL doesn't make you have the best OLine. Matthews is a first round talent too though.

A lot of people still think Green Bay may take him. He'd be best used as a Guard. Either way he's versatile enough for someone to draft him in the first, but with his injury and the rise of some other guys it may not happen now. Either way he was great at every position he played, not average.

Joeckel will be Top 5, Matthews a Top 20, and Ogbuehi will be a first rounder. Pat Lewis will be drafted and Jarvis Harrison might be a 1st rounder, too.
Just wait and see, which we all know is not an SEC Rant strong suit.

Im just trying to make some of the Tex A&M crowd realize that the SEC is run first, run second and throw third as a norm.
That is over.
