Texas fans think they're still the biggest baddest program in the sport.
South Carolina fans think their the top university and football program in their state.
OU fans think they're gonna keep winning 10+ games a season in the SEC, just because they did so in the Big 12 and Big 8.
Ole Miss fans think the Grove is the epitome of tailgating.
Tennessee fans are... well... their own kinda special.
That's how fandom works. It ain't unique to A&M.
It is weird how this board has latched onto A&M in recent years. But this place is basically Finebaum for halfway literate people with an internet connection. Don't put any real world stock in what gets posted here.

Come to Kyle Field for a game and make up your own mind. It will be one of the best football game experiences you have ever had.
There are very few posters on here I would trust to give you an honest answer. I doubt most of them have ever even seen Kyle Field or the A&M campus much less ever been to a game. Most of their experiences with Aggies or Aggie fans has been what they have read on this board. This board is so far from the real world that it is almost unbelievable. This place is nothing but smack talk and very little actual substance to anything.

I dont know where the visitor band sat in 88 or 89, but if its the same spot as they sit now. The section above it didnt exist at that point in time.

2) when you were there
3) what team the alleged perp was repping in the stands?

I know some LSU grads that are some of the finest people I know. Truly great human beings.
The white trash comparison comes from going to games at Death Valley. I had one really great experience there and one not so great.
The other part of the white trash comparison comes from about 75% of the posters on this board. Most of them can't post without showing how ignorant they are. I tend to believe that they are fans and not actual graduates. Most of them have probably never set foot on campus.

I think most of us admit it’s overrated because of our self imposed restrictions (no grills primarily, and how crowded it gets).
However it’s hard to knock us for bragging about it when prompted since the national media basically crowns us with this title without us really having to say anything.

My bad experiences were from the way fans are treated at Death Valley.

Honestly this is my biggest bitch with them. Like shut the frick up dude. We get it. You and UT have Texas oil money. You also haven't won a goddamn title in 83 years, so what's it good for exactly? All hat and no cattle. They hate LSU because our program is everything they want to be. EKG and a select few are the only A&M posters worth a shite on here.

While you certainly have more success than us, that’s not why we hate you.
Honestly it’s a simple thing. You just don’t treat visitors well to your stadium.
That’s our main beef. I mean we want to beat you and hate it if you win. But we don’t hate your school for any reason other than the way fans are treated while visiting.
And most alumni are nice and wonderful. That’s the crazy thing.
