So you're saying when Saban retires LSU fans will weep?

This is semantics. We all know that what she means by this is that they will eventually move to Coach Arkie. Arkie is not a job... it's a destination.

Most LSU fans and anyone else with sense knows it will take a whole lot to get him out of Tuscaloosa. It would take a percentage of ownership to get him to leave and I doubt any team really does that. Saban will retire there and be buried in a Alabama diamond encrusted sepulcher.

these threads are funny because they literally mean nothing. the words of a coach (or someone close to the coach) mean nothing.

in the case of Saban he's already told the media twice he wasn't leaving somehwere before he left...so honestly him saying he's staying makes it even worse

Will Saban retire at Bama? Probably.

But is there a chance another job would open up that could lure him with enough money? Probably.

It all just depends. No articles or quotes matter.

When he retires? I'm pretty damn sure there will be NO weeping when that sumbitch retires.

So why the talk about Smart taking over Bama? Where did that come from? That seems weird.
