Too many out there who will not vote for a freshmen - I mean won't even put on the ballot. Sad thing is that a LOT of SEC defensive players kill this guys stats.

But because of his tragedy...

Well it was a good effort by aggy, but as usual a shortcoming is the news of the day. Maybe you could just make one up since you do that with titles.

Just put a statue up and put it on the stadium and bam, you got yourself a Heisman.

The real tragedy is that the best player in the country, Marqise Lee won't even come close to winning the Heisman and might not even be invited to New York as a Heisman finalist.

My name is Johnny, and it might be a sin,
but I'll take your bet, you're gonna regret,
cuz I'm the best that's ever been.

Marqise had a fine year, but not even close to JFF. Excellent attempt though.

Now how do the points work? Like you get 3 "points" for a first place vote 2 for a 2nd and 1 for a 3rd? So he may get 200 hundred 1st place votes and be left off another 200 so get like 600? I really have never looked at the numbers just know who won etc

If you really think that you should lay some money down.

Vegas has him an overwhelming 8-1 favorite.

Matt Elam and Jarvis Jones both are way MORE deserving of the heisman than Te'o

Exactly - Teo is a joke. Manziel is the best player and it isn't close. Many defensive players have better stats.

But Teo went to ND, and that is the difference here. Enough to want to puke

Te'O's only stat that stands out is the int.'s... there's a dozen ILB's with as good or better stats minus the int.'s...

GD - the hatchet job on JFF today is disgusting. Now I think Manziel might place third at best. Klein sucks, and so does Teo.

What a joke!!!
