Correct.

But as we learned from Camgate, the university has to sit him (on their own) once they believe his eligibility is in jeopardy. Otherwise, they risk the NCAA hammer. At that point, they sit the kid and apply to the NCAA for reinstatement.

I imagine Auburn is going to keep him out of practice (it's already being reported) and let the NCAA do their thing.

i think you have to have given money in some way to athletic department (such as purchasing season tickets or something like that) or be a member of an organization that promotes the athletic department to be considered a booster. You are not a booster just cause you are an alum.

You would be reachable though. Just like Kenny Bell wasn't a State booster. He just played football there and then never gave us a second thought. Till he saw a way to possibly make a killing brokering a deal between Cecil and State.

is representative synonymous with booster? i would not be sad if they could nail auburn solely based on her being an alum, but somehow I dont think it works that way

grad of the Cheatinest Village on the Plains alters a transcript to help a prospect get into his alma mater...sounds like a booster to me.
