Wait. W/L doesn't tell the story when talking head to head?
I have no doubt the west is stronger than the east. Just not as strong as some of you yahoos like to think.
Look at the head to head (east verses west) and then take out Alabama. They are what gives the west the big advantage. (Note: the west might still have the edge...but like I said. It won't be neat the huge edge you guys try to make it out to be)

Florida is a dead program with a sun belt coach.
Kirby killed them last year and will bury them this year.
The Vols have a real coach Now and are a real threat.
Whoever wins Tenn vs UGA is winning the east and likely the sec. Period.

I have Tennessee going 9-3 or 10-2, definitely see them beating Florida. I know the Vols are a punchline around here but I’m not going to downplay them

Our program is trending in the right direction and everybody in the country knows that.
It’s just a fact the West is light years ahead of the East.
The west doesn’t have teams like Vandy and Mizzou. Both teams are bad right now. Florida is down right now. Kentucky Beats 1 decent team a year.
Those are just facts.
You might want to look at going into the WAC so your coach is comfortable

We’ve won the West 4 times since joining the SEC.
That’s way more than any non charter member and more than 4-5 charter members in that time frame

Again. Take a look at the last 5 years and figure the head to head results minus Alabama. "Light years" would not be thrown around nearly as much. Alabama is what elevates the west, not the west elevating the SEC.
Go ahead. I dare you. (Again, I think the west will probably come out on top, but these platitudes of "light years" will definitely go away.

It's crazy how that happens sometimes. Florida had our number until recently. Even when you have better teams and should win you find a way to lose. It's maddening.
Good news is when you finally get that monkey off your back it is very freeing.

It’s the same magic we have over Kentucky, it just goes the opposite way. It can be so infuriating sometimes but at this point I just go into the game expecting to lose and that helps
