But they'll still lose at least 4-5 games and lose to Florida. SEC East is still very weak.

Possible. But last season the 2nd place East team had a record of 10-3 and the 2nd place west team had a record of 10-3.

In 2020 the 2nd place East team went 8-2 and the 2nd place west team went 9-1 (the forfeited their bowl game)

In 2019 the 2nd place East team went 11-2 and he 2nd place west team went 11-2.

In 2018 the 2nd place east team went 10-3 and the 2nd place west team went 9-4.

Seems pretty even to me.

One gets to play garbage east teams.

One has to play West teams.

Having identical records isn’t the same when you think of playing Vandy, Mizzou, South Carolina, a down Florida, mediocre Kentucky and what has been a bad TN team

We beat a more loaded Kentucky team last year with our first year version of ourselves and beat SC 45-20. Yawn.

Maybe you should read the OP again? That was the statement I was responding to.

AHHHHH, here we go. The coping and excuse making. West rides tails of Alabama. Nothing new to see here. Do the head to head between east verses west and eliminate Alabama and see how they come out.

I think you will find it will be closer than you think.

With that offense averaging over 40 a game, they will not lose 5 games this year.

Bama is all the West has in football and don’t forget that the defending national champions is from the East.

Since the BCS/CFP era, the East has as many teams to win a National title than the west.
