Tennessee was the most successful athletic department in the conference this year.
1 Regular Season SEC Championship in baseball
1 SEC tournament Championship in basketball
1 SEC tournament championship in Soccer
Top 10-25 finishes in almosy every other sport.
Edit: Ah, you're talking about football. Tennessee will do better than 6-6 in that as well

What is their record against Mississippi State over that period?
I'm seeing 5-1. If you expand it to 30 years, Mississippi State gets another win in...and the record goes to 7-2.
It looks like Tennessee hasn't been successful in football lately because they don't play Mississippi State frequently enough.
