They have a little bit of baseball history. They went to Omaha in 2012 and sent #1 Florida home.

Lost in all this is Kent State isn’t chopped liver. They’re probably gonna be really really good.

For a MAC school, they have a very good baseball program.

You realize he's from the DVH coaching tree right? He literally called Dave for advice before taking the San Fran job.

I personally think we're going to get Wes Johnson whenever Dave retires, but if the timings line up I could very easily see Tony V coming here if we show interest and/or Dave recommends him over Wes. That's how our program has kind of operated. The DVH hire was done more by Norm than it was Broyles.

TBF, I’ve never been a big basketball guy. Just don’t care much for the sport in general. Just never been my cup of tea. Baseball has been my favorite sport my entire life. That’s made it pretty easy not to pay attention to college basketball. I don’t think I e watched a single college basketball game in a couple of years now. I’ve followed college baseball as close as football since I was a child in the early 90s

I was a huge fan of baseball as a kid; as an adult, watching MLB bored me to tears. I preferred going to a Birmingham Barons game with my parents. Those were a lot of fun; especially when Max Patkin (RIP) was there. I think the issue with MLB was seeing a lot of my favorite players growing up (Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, etc.) get caught up in the drug scandal.

I enjoy watching Alabama play baseball when I get a chance to see a game in person, but watching it on TV is sleep-inducing. To each their own, I suppose, but I have to be at a game for an individual one to spark my interest.

Liking DVH doesn’t mean he will ever set foot in Arkansas again.

You clearly don’t know Tony.

Dude was tearing up talking about his time in Arkansas after the supers last year. I don't think you know Tony. You have created something in your mind because of a few chippy series between the two teams. But don't get it twisted, if Tony is looking for a job and Arkansas is looking for a coach, he'd take that job in a heart beat and no one would blame him for it.

Tell me you don’t know Tony without telling me you don’t know Tony. He’s Italian. He’s not going back to Arkansas.

Why don't you tell me what you think you know about Vitello instead of repeating the same thing over and over again. And wtf do you think him being Italian has to do with anything?
.
Rick Pitino won a national title at Kentucky, went to the NBA, and came back to college to coach at Kentucky's rival.

Italians built and run the NWA town Tontitown. There's a huge Italian population here, but more importantly, what the frick does that have to do with anything?

You keep running to drink from this "you don't know Tony" well. You've said it in three or four replies like it's some kind of mic drop. It sort of implied that you DO know Tony. When was the last time he was over at your place?

Buddy, I have heard Tony tell Tony B to his face he isn’t interested in returning to bumfrick Arkansas. I don’t know what else to tell you. The only way it ever happens is if he marries some pig living in the Bay Area from Arkansas and has 3 kids and she convinces him to move back to her home.

But there’s a better chance of him being gay and marrying a dude than that happening.

culturally, Fayetteville and Knoxville are very similar places. And lol at thinking Fayetteville is "bumfrick." Not that any of that matters. But I'll also take things that never happened for $1000

It did happen. At Calhouns actually. During JoshyBoy’s birthday celebration last year.

And that’s why Tony likes Knoxville (but wouldn’t surprise me to see him end up in Austin). He can get to Nashville quickly and spent all of his free time at his condo there. Like I said, you don’t know the first thing about Tony and it shows.
