Is it just me or is that smile quite creepy? I am probably just reading things into it knowing the past history. At least he doesn't go by first and middle name.
What is disturbing is the court psychologist's report. The findings that he appeared to show no remorse and placed blame on the 17 year old and even the victim might give you an inkling as to how he "got through" the last 6 years. The mind can do extraordinary things.
As for the victim giving him a letter of recommendation for UT, I can actually understand that quite easily. When something truly horrific happens to you, sometimes the only way you can get true closure and go on with your own life is to forgive and try to move on. That doesn't mean anything as far as the legal ramifications go with admission to UT- I do believe I have heard that convicted sexual predators not allowed admission?

Its easy to understand when it may not be true. No one has any proof if said endorsement came from the cousin, or if she ever forgave him, its all just rumors unlike his actual offense.
