If you can't win, nothing matters beyond that moment in time. If Huepel is having trouble in that locker room, we will get to see just how good of a coach he really is.
But SCAR was the better team Saturday. That's all that matters outside of your orange bubble.

I remember a rumor about UGA - seniors were pissed about something and decided to sandbag homecoming against Vandy, just enough to keep it close, but not actually lose

No. Banks sat at home on punishment. It can be true that Banks had incidents and was punished properly and also true that his absence undid a bad defense without any drama involved at all. He is a key player and cleans up a lot of safety play. Take away a key piece of a fragile D and you don't need drama for bad shite to happen.
