That and the mistakes by Starkel (the INT and failing to spike the ball even with everyone the field yelling at him to do so). If none of those happen, a big if of course, the score would have likely been at least 26-6.

Not to mention their fg kicker hit 50 & 47 yd fg attempts. Pretty good for fcs imo.

How come every time we play a G5 or FCS opponent they always have a guy that can kick 50 yard FGs like they were nothing?

No joke. I also thought their QB was pretty mobile, something we may not face a lot this year. Seemed like a baby Johnny football scrambling at times. Was frustrating watching that aspect of our defense

Tennessee should just hire Leach and try again. I would’ve been pissed with the JP hire. Ole Miss should’ve never fired Cutcliffe. They’re getting what they deserve.

Arkansas kept things pretty vanilla in our game. Not saying that is why we didn’t score points or should have done better considering the talent gap. But we weren’t exotic in our approach by any means. That and throwing an INT in the red zone and allowing a desperate heave TD; made our game look much closer.
Are we still bottom 4 in the conference - yes. Did we almost get beat by Portland State - not in my opinion.
