All of what I said is facts, and if looked up, back up what I said.

There's no hook.

When will we see this "possible resurgence"?

Los conductores de cerdos pueden ser históricamente el puesto número dos en la SEC, pero se clasifican número catorce en el temor de pollo-mierda de una simple apuesta de la firma.

All these johnny come latelys or just young punk kids on the rant just dont have a clue how good Tenn. was back in the 90s thus how good Florida was to handle them.

Even with Sabans success at Bama you still dont see defenseive talent like the Vols had back then. Household names.

That rep is built on ducking the other members of the Big 6 more than any other of the Big 6 teams except LSU. Even then, UT has an 11 game lead on LSU, 1 game lead on UGA, and has losing records to Alabama, Auburn, and Florida.

Auburn has played the most games against the rest of the Big 6 followed by Bama at #2.

Pretty sure I heard that tennessee is on a 12 game losing streak to the west.

And if UGA had chubb and Florida had del Rio they would be 0fer against the east this year, too. Repeatedly beating Vandy and Kentucky doesn't make you a powerhouse suddenly.

Tennessee is also historically the #49 state in the country. Sans the one state at the bottom, the rest kinda wonders why it's in the developed world

RANKING OF ALL 50 STATES

"14. Tennessee

Any state that goes from zero Thrillist editions to two Thrillist editions in less than a year has to be doing some things right. Right? In no particular order, those things include: hot chicken, the Stax Museum, inexplicably passionate hockey fanbases, ribs, Beale Street, state songs, dressing weirdly nice for college football games, and theme parks dedicated to busty country musicians. Could Thrillist Chattanooga be on the horizon? POSSIBLY!"

RANKED: The economies of all 50 US states and Washington, DC, from worst to best

37. Tennessee

Tennessee's average weekly wage of $752 was the ninth lowest among the states and DC. The state's unemployment rate of 5.6% was a bit higher than the national rate of 5.0%."

Let's cut to the chase.

One of the things I like to point out is that when the players were pretty much real students and residents of the states in which their universities lie, Tennessee totally kicked arse.

"Neyland holds the record for most wins in Tennessee Volunteers history with 173 wins in 216 games, six undefeated seasons, nine undefeated regular seasons, seven conference championships, and four national championships. At UT, he reeled off undefeated streaks of 33, 28, 23, 19, and 14 games." -wiki

Of course we had General Neyland.

Dude, you aren't a good team. Jesus Christ, you are barely beating bad teams, and bragging. I take that back, you are a decent team, but up until now, you aren't a good team. Flame away, and maybe they start playing better, but the teams you have beaten are poor teams.

Hmmm... This deserves it's own thread: Big 6 all-time record vs. other Big 6.

I'm sure it's been done, but I've yet to see it.

Not gonna look up the actual records, but we have the series lead against Georgia and LSU. Up until 2004, we had a comfortable lead over Florida as well. The last decade has been brutal.

As previously noted: Since 1970, around the time SEC teams were integrated, UT is 5th in the SEC in winning pct and 6th in number of conference titles.

UT's "history" of being #2 in the conference was from the whitebread years way back in the 1920s and 1930s.
