How good was Alontae Taylor? I found 2 highlight videos showing the same 5 highlights, and was kinda disappointed.

He gonna have a decent NFL career with the Saints?

Maybe?

The dude played quarterback in HS, then was recruited as a WR and then switched over to CB, ended up playing for multiple coaches at UT and ended up as our most reliable CB. He was solid even when our defense was on the field for 40+ minutes per game last year.

I think he has potential, but I was surprised when he went so high in the draft.

Dunno. Physical corner. Guess he may play safety.

He was solid for us. Lost the Purdue game because he didn’t play, probably lose to Kentucky without him. Our pass rush was bad last year so it’s foolish to try to judge him off numbers. It’s hard to know how NFL ready he is, I’ve not seen enough dedicated footage to know

He had a really good combine. He is really fast and plays physical. Truth be told not only was he our most reliable corner he was prolly our best DB we had last year. I think he has a similar career to what Cam Sutton is having with Pittsburg.

Appreciate the feedback guys.

Sounds like more of a project than an immediate contributor, but I'm glad he'll be wearing black & gold this year.

Just for laughs the Saints signed Bryce Thompson (SC native) as an UDFA last year, Calloway the year before, and drafted Meachum in the 2007. NO has built a little pipeline in Knoxville.

He didn't get thrown to very often. Very rarely do CBs on mid teams get great highlights. Burrell, the CB opposite of him, was a liability, and damn near an auto 15 yards, and Jaylen McCullough was also very bad.

Shy Tuttle was a UDFA for them as well.

His has ability at corner. He was still learning the position at UT, great up side. But not as a returner or star. He will be a great compliment corner.

Didn’t they have Dante Stalllworth at one time also? Don’t forget about Shy Tuttle and Kamara. The Saints have the most players from any 1 school than any other team in the NFL I believe.
